The 7 fat loss habits of people who lose weight and get lean

1. Be focused
If your result matters to you, get fired up about it. Be clear about it, be focused on it and be ruthless about how you pursue it. Start, keep going and don’t stop until you get there. Sound too simplistic a fat loss habit? How else do you think you do it?
2. Be organised
I will keep saying this because it will always be one of the most important things you can do. If you’re following a fat-loss workout plan, you must plan your sessions in advance. The more organised you can be, the more effortless it will be to start the sessions and tick them off.
3. Be honest
If you want to make a big change to how you look in a short space of time then you need to execute your workouts to the best of your ability. So be honest with yourself – are you going through the motions or are you executing with intent?

4. Be consistent
No one is perfect and no one has to be perfect to make incredible progress. But you do need to be consistent. So if you have a slip up, get over it, dust yourself off and carry on. Take the broader view of how you did that week or that month. Don’t get caught up in the significance of an individual day.
5. Be supportive
Following on for the point above, if you do slip up, don’t beat yourself up. It happens. Get over it. Focus all of your effort and energy on taking a positive step and getting back on track.
6. Be persistent
Progress is never linear. You’ll have great weeks and you’ll have weeks that fall short of your expectations. Your job is to react to them the same way. Don’t get caught up in your successes or weighed down by your failures. Just follow the process and follow the plan.
7. Be committed
You want something amazing to happen to your body? You want to swap a belly for a lean stomach? Then go all in. It may sound intimidating but here’s my promise – taking that approach is a release. You’ll feel powerful. It gives you purpose. And it gets results.
So there you go, those are the seven qualities I want you to work on. Call it a secret, call it a recipe, call it a formula. Call it whatever you like. Just do it.
